Church Vocations

"In the hidden recesses of the human heart the grace of a vocation takes the form of a dialogue. It is a dialogue between Christ and an individual, in which a personal invitation is given. Christ calls the person by name and says: "Come, follow me." This call, this mysterious inner voice of Christ, is heard most clearly in silence and prayer. It's acceptance is an act of faith."
~Pope St. John Paul II

Do you feel a deep and persistent longing in your heart for something greater? Something bigger than you? Something that nothing and nobody else, other than God, could fill?

Maybe He's there calling for you. Asking you to be His; asking that you might consider the religious life.  All Christians should at least be open and explore the call. And if you do feel called, don't be afraid to talk about it with a good spiritual director. God could have a wonderful vocation for you in mind. Will you at least think and pray about it?
